Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) - Orthopedics

Location: Tampa, Florida
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Specialty: Orthopedics Radiology
Shift: 1st Shift (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 36
Weekend Hours: None
Call Requirements: None
Number of Openings: 1
Patient Population: Adult orthopedic patients including adult reconstruction, foot/ankle, spine, hand, and upper extremity cases
Patient Volume: 50-70 X-rays per tech per day
Equipment Used: Sedecal X-ray equipment
Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Epic and GE PACS
Float Requirements: Must be available to travel within the western region
Candidate Eligibility: Permanent address must be more than 100 miles from the facility

Required Qualifications

Valid Radiology Technician license in Florida
Minimum 2 years of Radiology Technician experience, including experience within the last year
Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
Experience with C-Arm for injections

Preferred Qualifications

Orthopedic radiology experience preferred

Dress code: Scrubs only (any color acceptable)
Facility has 16 beds/rooms
