Job Summary

Perform independent nursing and delegated medical functions according to state Board of Nursing standards
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care
Collect and assess health data to evaluate patient status
Provide health teaching and counseling
Deliver supportive and restorative therapy and treatment directly or through delegation, supervision, consultation, or teaching
Execute delegated medical functions and refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans
Document care in compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
Utilize resources effectively
May float to other departments within scope of competency
May be required to be on-call during scheduled shifts

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited School of Nursing
Minimum of 1 year of telemetry nursing experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Advanced certification in ACLS, NRP, or PALS issued by the American Heart Association
