Electrophysiology Tech - Travel/Contract

Location: Portland, Oregon
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day (4x10 hours), 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40


Job Summary

  • Radiology Tech with Electrophysiology (EP) experience required.
  • Position does not float between units.
  • No on-call, weekend, or block schedule requirements.
  • Expected patient ratio: 1:1.

Required Qualifications

  • Electrophysiology Technician with a minimum of 1 year of experience.
  • Electrophysiology Technician experience within the last year.

Background and Compliance Requirements

  • Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID).
  • Social Security Card (as applicable).
  • E-Verify attestation.
  • Background check within 90 days covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; updated annually.
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start; updated monthly.
  • Education verification required.
  • Minimum of 2 professional references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within the last 3 years.
  • Employment application covering at least last 5 years.
  • Work history verification required if exceptions to references are requested.

Health and Safety Requirements

  • Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO, confirming ability to work with or without accommodation.
  • Fit mask test (respirator clearance) required for travel candidates, updated annually.
  • Immunizations and screenings:
    • TDAP vaccine within 10 years or declination accepted.
    • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually.
    • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer with acceptable documentation.
    • Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination.
    • Varicella vaccination or positive titer.
    • Seasonal flu vaccine or declination during flu season.
    • COVID vaccination record preferred; declinations accepted with adherence to masking policies.
  • 9 Panel Drug Screen within 12 months of start (instant acceptable).

Additional Requirements

  • Passport-style badge photo with neutral background required.
  • Completion of annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via LMS (Workramp).
  • Competency exams and skills checklists as applicable, updated annually.
  • Oregon Neglect Abuse Search and Consent Form required only if assigned to specific child care facility (not applicable here).
  • Float policy acknowledgement may be required; this position does not float between units.

  • This is a travel/contract assignment with a defined 13-week duration.
