Job Details

Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technologist license in California
- Minimum 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Certification Requirements:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ARRT certification
- Fluoroscopy (Fluoro) certification
- Experience with Dexa and X-Ray Technician duties
Compliance and Documentation Requirements
- Background Checks:
- 7-year criminal background check including SSN trace, county, state, federal, and national criminal and sex offender searches
- HHS/OIG exclusion check
- Employment History:
- Two satisfactory references
- Completed employment application
- Skills checklist
- Proof of W4 form on file
- Primary source verification of California state license within 30 days of start (visual verification with signature, initials, date, and title required)
- Radiation badge not required for this role (for information only)
Health and Safety Requirements
- Physical exam within 12 months prior to start
- Negative TB test (PPD, Qgold, or Tspot) within 12 months, or clear chest x-ray if history of positive PPD, updated annually
- Tdap vaccine required (no declinations accepted)
- Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella: Proof of immunity by 2 vaccines or titer; boosters required if negative or equivocal; no declinations accepted
- Hepatitis B vaccination series, titer, or signed declination accepted
- 9-panel drug test within 1 year of start
- COVID-19 vaccination required or approved medical/religious exemption on file
- Flu vaccination or agency flu declination required year-round; masks required for unimmunized personnel during flu season
- N95 fit test within 1 year prior to start; must use approved mask models; no onsite fit testing available
Facility-Specific Requirements
- Completion of facility-specific learning modules (approx. 8 hours) prior to start
- Completion and signing of facility standards of conduct and confidentiality/non-disclosure agreements annually
- Vaccine attestation form must be completed regardless of vaccination status
- No scrub color requirement; scrubs provided by facility
- Experience with EPIC or Cerner electronic health records preferred; 6 months or more experience required for RNs (auto-cancel if less than 6 months); case-by-case approval for others
Additional Notes
- ACLS, PALS, NRP, EFM, NIH Stroke Certification, CPI, and other certifications are not required for this tech role unless specified for other specialties
- CA Venipuncture Certification required for CT, MRI, and Nuclear Med Techs (not specified here)
- Pyxis acknowledgment required for RNs and respiratory care providers, not applicable for this role
