Echosonographer - Diagnostic Imaging

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Perform diagnostic imaging with expertise in Transthoracic Echocardiography (TTE), Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE), Contrast studies (Optison/Definity), Bubbles studies, Exercise and Dobutamine Stress Echo.
• Some experience with rare Pediatric TTE is preferred.
• Work settings include inpatient hospital, outpatient clinic, emergency room, and cath lab.
• Use of equipment: Philips EPIC, Philips CX50, Siemens ACUSON SC2000, Siemens Origin.
• EMR systems: Athena, Meditech, PICOM.
• Schedule: 5 days per week (8-hour day shifts) plus rotating evening, night, and weekend call.
• Interpersonal skills: Positive attitude, team player, open to feedback, strong communication skills.

Required Qualifications

• Echo Technologist with a minimum of 3 years of experience, including experience within the last year.
• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) certification.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• CVCCI or ARDMS credential.
• Experience with MEDITECH EMR system.

Housing

• Housing opportunity available based on availability: newly remodeled studio and one-bedroom apartments located half a block from the hospital.
• Apartments include Wi-Fi, utilities, on-site laundry, fully furnished.

• Agencies must submit CV, CCII or ARDMS credential, and AHA BLS skills sheet with each candidate submission.
• Accuracy of SS# and DOB in the system is critical to avoid onboarding delays or suspension.

Hours

• 40 hours per week.
• Shift includes day shifts with rotating evening, night, and weekend call.
