Job Description
- Provide nursing care on an inpatient behavioral health unit focused on geriatric patients
- Perform behavioral health admissions and discharges
- Serve as Lead RN resource (training/classes provided)
- Float to other adult inpatient behavioral health units as needed
- Flexibility and willingness to manage varied patient acuity required
- Team-player with compassion and strong interpersonal skills essential
- Opportunity to gain experience caring for patients with diverse mental health issues
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
- Minimum 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong inpatient behavioral health experience
