Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Job Summary

• Work in a 14-bed Emergency Department serving patients of all ages.
• Patient ratio is approximately 1 nurse to 4 patients.
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.
• Weekend hours: Every other weekend/as needed.
• Call requirements: As needed.
• Float requirements: As needed.
• Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays.
• Dress code: Scrubs of any color; casual wear is not acceptable.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky.
• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience within the last year.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Unit Information

• Emergency Department with 14 beds.
• Serves a diverse patient population including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• The facility is a Joint Commission-accredited acute care hospital.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Professional demeanor.
• Prior ER experience is a must.

Note: Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff.
