Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM

Assist patients in reaching maximum physical performance while adjusting to disabilities.
Restore patient physical functioning by interpreting evaluations and test results.
Determine physical therapy treatment goals and plans.
Administer manual therapy and exercises.
Instruct, encourage, and assist patients in performing physical activities and using assistive/supportive devices.
Perform patient assessments and establish plans of care.
Identify and document goals, anticipated progress, and plans for reevaluation.
Discuss evaluation, goals, and treatment with patients and families.
Evaluate treatment effects at various stages and adjust treatments to maximize benefit.
Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) according to policy and state regulations.
Participate in hospital-wide quality process improvement initiatives.
Complete billing sheets accurately by the end of each day.

Valid Physical Therapist license in Massachusetts
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist, including experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
Experience in a Rehabilitation setting
